Chemistry and Biochemistry - BS College of Creative Studies

The CCS Chemistry & Biochemistry major is designed for students who desire to get into the laboratory to work on research projects. As a student in the program, you’ll have numerous opportunities to become involved with exciting research at UCSB early in your academic career while working alongside graduate students and faculty. The program prepares you for careers in the chemical and biochemical sciences and is particularly suited for students seeking to attend graduate or professional schools. The flexibility of CCS will allow you to proceed through the curriculum in a manner best suited for your unique interests and enable you a fast-track into experiencing science at an elevated level.
