By integrating the three areas of exploration, you’ll receive a well-rounded education in writing. You’ll work closely under the guidance of a faculty mentor to create a publishable body of creative and scholarly work for your senior portfolio. Work in creative writing will help you develop your voice and gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s publishing environment. The close reading and criticism skills gained through literary study will help you better understand and analyze literature.
