Program Description
The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major is designed for students interested in the characteristics of molecules and the molecular mechanisms involved in living systems. It is especially recommended for those planning graduate work in biochemistry, molecular biology, or microbiology. In your studies, you'll concentrate on the chemical and physical properties of biological molecules, the complex array of chemical reactions occurring in cells, and the function and regulation of genes.
